Some Background
The Natural Beekeeping Trust was formed in 2009 in response to the need for an alternative approach to the care of bees. The key aims of the trust are
-
disseminate information about bee-centred, natural beekeeping
-
develop new understandings and ways of relating to the bee that work with the natural behaviour of the creature rather than the enforced and stressful behaviour seen in conventional, chemical-dependent, beekeeping.
The Trust is governed by the UK Charity Commission, with which it is registered as a not for profit organisation.

Our Trustees
Our trustees give generously of their time and energies without payment. They are active beekeepers and hive makers who collaborate closely with others around the world to grow their understanding of the bee and its essential needs. Personal profiles of our trustees and some of our partners are here.

Speaking and Teaching Engagements
Trustees are available for speaking and teaching engagements at their personal discretion. Please see here for more information on talks, and here if you are interested in organising a Sun Hive course. All speaking and Sun Hive course fees go to the Trust.
This Website
This website is our portal to the world. Through it we share our knowledge - which grows on a daily basis - and encourage others to join our ranks in adopting a bee-centred approach.
