My very first experience I had with bees was with my father when I was little. We had a bee hive in the garden and although he was taught many of the conventional methods of beekeeping he would still explore and respect many older ways that I would now see as principles aligned to natural beekeeping.

Drawing on these memories, his influence inspires me to have a 'hands off approach’ with the bees that live and thrive in our garden.


It means everything to be a host to free living bees and on my journey I seek to encourage others to become equally enchanted and develop a deep respect for their innate wisdom.
